Alemill Holiday Cottage is located 5 minutes from the coastal town of Eyemouth and 10 minutes from the Scottish Border. We are in a peaceful setting near the Ale Water which flows to the south.
Driving Directions From the South by car: Head up the A1 towards Edinburgh, passing Berwick on Tweed. You will pass signs for Eyemouth on the right (A1107), and Ayton Castle will be visible on your left. About a mile further on there is an unmarked turn to your right, which you should take (almost opposite a left turn for Ayton). Follow this road for approx. 2 miles. You will drive over a small bridge. Alemill Holiday Cottage is up the small hill and on the left hand side.
From the North by car: Head down the A1 towards Newcastle. You will pass signs for Coldingham on the left, and Reston on the right (B6438). Take the next turn on the left (almost opposite a right turn to Ayton). Follow this road for approx. 2 miles. You will drive over a small bridge. Alemill cottage is up the small hill and on the left hand side.
